What you’ll be doing…
You will complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operation over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist with general store duties
Receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods
Conduct warehouse housekeeping
Participate in stock and warehouse efficiency projects
Assist with both manual, hands-on duties and computer duties
Operate machinery and equipment to carry out duties
Assist in general warehousing tasks that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of a trainee
Use of hand tools and equipment including spray guns to carry out the spray painting of small motors/pumps.
What you’ll bring to the table…
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following selection criteria:
Be committed to your formal and ‘on the job’ training
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work safely and follow instructions
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Basic computer literacy skills
Be able to learn new concepts and systems quickly
Ability to follow written instruction and procedures
Current manual driver’s licence (P1 or above)
Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
Current WHS Construction Industry Card (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
