What you’ll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operation over 24 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with general store duties
  • Receive, pick, pack and dispatch goods
  • Conduct warehouse housekeeping
  • Participate in stock and warehouse efficiency projects
  • Assist with both manual, hands-on duties and computer duties
  • Operate machinery and equipment to carry out duties
  • Assist in general warehousing tasks that are within the limits of the skills, competence and ability of a trainee
  • Use of hand tools and equipment including spray guns to carry out the spray painting of small motors/pumps.

What you’ll bring to the table…

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Be committed to your formal and ‘on the job’ training
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work safely and follow instructions
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Be able to learn new concepts and systems quickly
  • Ability to follow written instruction and procedures
  • Current manual driver’s licence (P1 or above)
  • Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current WHS Construction Industry Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
