What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade over 4 years through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience. 

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform minor fabrication work
  • Use various hand and power tools
  • Weld and cut various materials
  • Fabricate large and diverse industrial equipment
  • Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures for fabricating
  • Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques
  • Assemble fabricated components

  • Commitment to full term of the apprenticeship and study requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer Skills, numeracy and literacy;
  • Construction White Card or willingness to obtain
  • Provisional Drivers Licence or willingness to obtain
  • Covid Vaccination or willingness to obtain
