What you'll be doing…
You will complete a Certificate III in Business Administration over 12 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with the Host Employer.
Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:
Greet and handle customers’ enquiries via phone, email and face to face
Undertake basic accounts functions
General administrative duties ad hoc, inclusive of mail, filing and data entry
Provide support to Shoalhaven Water and the broader team
Work on computers to use various software tools to assist with the business operations
Continue your traineeship career into a Certificate IV in Business Administration (for the right applicant)
Carry out other duties that are within the limits of trainee skills, competence and ability as required
What you'll bring to the table…
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following:
Ability to commence in immediately
Strong attention to detail
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
Commitment to full term of the traineeship and study requirements (12 months)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Capability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience using technology (computers/telephones/software packages)
Experience in Microsoft Office based products i.e. Excel and Word
Strong ability to plan work and effective time management
Completed Year 10 or higher
Current driver’s licence - desirable - (provisional accepted)
