You will complete a Certificate III in Carpentry over 36 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with your Host Employer, Czar Constructions.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks on construction sites.
• Learn and apply basic carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following selection criteria:

• Current White Card or willingness to obtain prior.
• P1 Drivers Licence or above
• Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment assessment which involves a Drug & Alcohol assessment.
• Covid-19 Vaccination or willing to obtain.

Qualities or characteristics we are seeking in an apprentice:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn both on the job and off the job.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to commit to heavy lifting and perform manual labour.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
